PERANCANGAN SISTEM INFORMASI DETEKSI DINI PENYAKIT TIDAK MENULAR (OBESITAS) DI DINAS KESEHATAN BANYUWANGI BERBASIS WEB
Abstract
The development of information technology has had a significant impact on the health sector, particularly in efforts to detect non-communicable diseases (NCDs). NCDs such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, heart disease, and obesity are health problems whose prevalence continues to increase and are often undetected in the early stages. The Banyuwangi Regency Health Office has an ongoing program to implement NCD screening through health facilities, however, observations activities indicate that the data recording process is still carried out manually using spreadsheet applications. This method presents various obstacles, including the difficulty of tracking patient health histories, limitations in data storage, and slow reporting. Therefore, it is necessary to design a web-based information system that can integrate patient examination data management in a more structured, accurate, and fast manner. This study aims to design a web-based NCD early detection information system to support the digitalization of health administration, improve service efficiency, and facilitate data-driven decision-making within the Banyuwangi Health Office.
