Author Guidelines

1. General Provisions

  • Tandhuk Majeng publishes articles based on community service activities in the field of education, which are original, have not been previously published, and are not under consideration elsewhere.
  • Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English with an academic writing style.
  • The manuscript length should be 7–15 pages, including tables, figures, and references.
  • Authors must prepare manuscripts using the official Tandhuk Majeng template

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should follow this structure:

  1. Title
    • Written in Times New Roman 14 pt, bold, maximum 15 words, in Indonesian.
    • The title should be specific, clear, and reflect the content of the article.
  2. Author(s) and Affiliation(s)
    • Names are written without academic degrees (Times New Roman 12 pt).
    • Include study program, faculty, institution, city, and country (Times New Roman 10 pt).
    • The corresponding author’s email must be provided.
  3. Abstract and Keywords
    • Abstract must be written in Indonesian, 150–200 words, in a single paragraph.
    • It should include background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion.
    • Provide 3–5 keywords in alphabetical order.
  4. Introduction
    • Explains the situation analysis, conditions, partner problems, and objectives.
    • Includes relevant literature reviews related to the problem and proposed solutions.
  5. Implementation Method
    • Describes the steps of implementation, target community, and activity flow.
    • A flowchart or diagram is recommended for clarity.
  6. Results and Discussion
    • Presents the results of the service program along with discussions in one section.
    • Use tables, figures, or charts to support the explanation.
    • Authors are REQUIRED to include at least 2 photos of the activities as proof of implementation.
  7. Conclusion
    • Contains a summary of findings, benefits, and recommendations.
  8. Acknowledgment (optional)
    • Addressed to funding agencies or parties involved in supporting the activity.
  9. References
    • Written in APA Style.
    • At least 10 references are required, with 70% from journal articles published within the last 10 years.
    • It is recommended to use reference manager software (Mendeley, Zotero, EndNote).

3. Writing Format

  • Font: Times New Roman.
  • Size: 12 pt (except for title, author names, and affiliations).
  • Spacing: 1.5.
  • Paper size: A4, margins 3 cm (top, left), 2.5 cm (bottom, right).
  • Layout: Single column.
  • Tables must have titles above, while figures/photos must have titles below.

4. Submission Procedure

  • Manuscripts must be submitted via the Tandhuk Majeng OJS system.
  • All authors’ names must be included in the metadata upon submission.
  • Manuscripts will undergo plagiarism checking (Turnitin) with a maximum 25% similarity tolerance.
  • Each article will be reviewed by at least two reviewers using a double-blind peer review process.

5. Publication Schedule

Tandhuk Majeng is published twice a year, in January and July.
